Spinning tops are fascinating. Building your own spinning tops is even better! We used various Lego technic parts, and it's really easy and fun to build working spinning tops with it. Even pretty large ones are not too hard to do.

Believe it or not, this one works really well. Spins slowly, but over 20 seconds!
My favorite, with 3 wheels attached to it.
