You need: balloons, goo, transparent paper (white and colored), bright autumn leaves, a piece of wire, a wooden stick, a candle and glue
Take a balloon, inflate it, close it, cover it with goo (leave a little bit of space on top, to open up the balloon later on, decorate the goocoveredit with pieces of transparent paper of different colors, or white paper adding red and yellow leaves on top, let it dry and your lantern is nearly ready.
When dry you have to open the balloon on the goofree top, put a candle into the lantern (fix it with glue). To finish the lantern drill two holes at two sides of the lantern to fix the wire. Then enlighten the candle and follow St. Martin.
