Create a snowy play scene

When it's too cold and icy for the small ones to go out, why not bring the magic of snow inside. An easy and fun set-up to create together. Endless opportunities for independent 'small world' play.

How to make it

Choose the snow scene's location (ours stayed up for several days at the base of our bed!)

Drape the cloth/blanket to make a snowy landscape. We tied ours up high in one corner - this became a mountainside.

Decorate the landscape with foil and tinsel

Collect the chosen soft toys/characters

Make simple toboggans and skidoos from any Lego bricks you might have - don't worry about scale.

Let the children decide what happens next.... you'll be amazed at the snowy adventures to be had by the toy characters!
