Things you'll need

• A large white blanket, sheet or tablecloth
• Kitchen foil (a few pieces to make icy pools)
• Tinsel scraps (for icicles)
• Selection of soft toys (my daughter chose all the pale or white soft toys because they looked 'Arctic') or favourite toy characters that might like to visit the snow
• Some Lego, for skidoos, sledges or toboggans
• Sticky tape, ribbon or string for securing the draped cloth/ blanket, icicles etc

How to make it 

Choose the snow scene's location (ours stayed up for several days at the base of our bed!)

Drape the cloth/blanket to make a snowy landscape. We tied ours up high in one corner - this became a mountainside.

Decorate the landscape with foil and tinsel

Collect the chosen soft toys/characters 

Make simple toboggans and skidoos from any Lego bricks you might have - don't worry about scale. 

Let the children decide what happens next.... you'll be amazed at the snowy adventures to be had by the toy characters!
