OK, you've probably seen this on the web. Over and over again. But did you already try it yourself? No? Then go and do it with your kids!
What you need:
What to do:
Well, very easy. Open the bottle, throw in some Mentos. That's it.
Here the mandatory YouTube video. They show how to get a lot of mentos into the bottle.
So is there an educational part to this?
Hmm, well, yes, there's some Physics and Chemistry behind it: Somehow the Mentos releases all the carbon dioxide (that is in the bottle in form of carbonic acid) very quickly. The gas escapes the bottle resulting in this geysir.
Why Mentos? I have no idea. Does anyone know?
That was rrreeaallyyyyyy ccccccooooooooolll
damnnn cool mannn
it has somekind of chemical reaction in the middle of the mento with the carbon dioxide in the coke
