First a video of our water construction:
What we used:
Tools:
To attach drinking straws or hoses to a plastic bottle, make a hole into the bottle with the drill (big enough for the straw/hose). Then fix and seal with hot glue. Alternatively you can use play-doh.
For making holes into the jar lids (metal), we used a nail which we simply hammered through the lid. To attach straws in a water-proof way, we used hot glue again.

Note: Using card board as the construction frame was not a good idea. After getting wet it quickly broke apart...
nice but complicated and not at all portable
water land!
so complicated to for schooluse!!
