Albatross Paper Plane

Starting with this article we'll present a number of paper planes - and how to fold them of course. This first one is a pretty basic model: the albatross.

Step 1: Take a piece of paper (A4 or letter size ), fold vertically and horizontally and open again.

 


Step 2: Fold a tip using the left and right upper edge.

 


Step 3: Fold down the tip to where the edges overlap.




Step 4: Fold the left and right upper edge to the vertical center line.

 


Step 5: Valley fold the vertical center line.

 


Step 6: For the wings mountain fold parallel to the center line. For the rudder valley fold near the outer edge (again parallel to the center line)

 


Step 7: Add a breaking fold at the rear of the model

 

Finished! Let go horizontally with a bit of speed. Have fun!
